Dodge Charger GT gets all-wheel-drive option for 2020 model year

The GT AWD joins the existing SXT AWD edition.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has introduced an all-wheel-drive option for the Dodge Charger GT, adding the AWD drivetrain to a higher trim level that will be sold alongside the existing SXT AWD package for the 2020 model year.

Both the GT and SXT are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque, delivered to all four wheels via an eight-speed transmission and active transfer case with front-axle disconnect.

The GT trim features a performance hood, fascia, sculpted side sills, spoiler, high-bolstered seats, performance steering wheel with paddle shifters and larger 19-inch wheels wheels versus the standard 17-inch rims on the SXT trim.

The 2020 Charger GT AWD is scheduled to arrive in showrooms by the first quarter of 2020 with a starting price of $36,490.
