As audacious as it sounds, the Italian Trident marque breaks all the conventional rules and reshapes the automobile industry’s mores with its latest ‘Fragment x Maserati’ partnership with Hiroshi Fujiwara – Asia’s godfather of streetwear.

Renowned as a pivotal figure in constructing streetwear culture since the early 90’s, as well as the world’s sought-after collaborator who has worked with some of the most top-rank maisons in the world like Nike, Converse, Antisocialsocialclub, Louis Vuitton and more, a Japanese creator and founder of Fragment Design, Hiroshi Fujiwara, is key to a reimagined world of Maserati cars.

Fragment x Maserati isn’t merely just a daring, out-of-the-box collaboration of the year. It’s, in fact, a swirl of fearless move smearing the two bold souls of passions together like no one else has. With the one-of-a-kind merging between the two icons, two passions and two interpretations of design – a new reality that was once only possible in a dream is finally real.

The unparalleled partnership will see a realised, limited edition Maserati Ghibli Hybrid through Fujiwara’s eyes of contemporary street culture, translating the Trident brand of Italian luxury cars and giving it an artistic definition with a unique story to tell.

”I like cars and I love driving. When I visited Maserati’s home in Modena, Italy, I found the heritage of the brand very strong, and I got really inspired by the evolution of the front grille of the Maserati cars through the years. While in Centro Stile Maserati, I was mesmerised by the different sketches, materials, style studies and attention to details. I am always into cars, and Maserati is a great partner to work with for my first car collaboration.” said Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Hiroshi Fujiwara and Maserati design team are together deconstructing the essence of Maserati, as well as reconstructing a novelty to its presence, piece by piece, to bring forward a vision of the future that only a few could dare.

The official launch of this Limited Edition will be held in Tokyo on June 24th, 2021. To find out more, visit maserati.com.14
