Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) unveils The new A-Class model 2023, the 4th generation of the A-Class line with a sub-model – A 200 Dynamic. The new A-Class model 2023 reiterates the Entry Luxury character of the automobile under the concept “CLASS FOR EVERY DAY,” designed to fit with young people’s lifestyles with the combination of an agile driving experience, Mercedes-Benz-styled luxury, and a sleek modern sports sedan design. This latest model embodies both new interior and exterior designs with a new set of standard equipment and fully-equipped technology and security system like never before. The new A-Class model 2023 is available at 2,320,000 THB.
The new A-Class model A 200 AMG Dynamic comes with a 1.3 liters inline four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with intercooler. The engine is developed to enhance the efficiency while reflecting a meticulous design based on The Art of Engineering. It is equipped with Cylinder shut-off system, enabling the engine to propel with only 2 cylinders when driving at low speed. The engine works together with a dual clutch 7-speed automatic transmission (7G-DCT) paired with a turbocharger that allows the maximum horsepower of 163 hp at 5,500 cycle/minute and maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1,600 – 4,000 cycle/minute. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. The steering wheel is equipped with a Paddle shift system and 4 driving mode to choose from – Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual, which can be adapted to fit different usages. The Lowered comport suspension enable a smooth ride. The vehicle supports oil usage up to E85 based on EURO6 standard with maximum average fuel consumption of 16.7 kilometers per liter.
The new A-Class body’s dimension: width x length x height is 1,796 x 4,558 x 1,429 mm, with an AMG bodystyling, embellished with a newly-designed Star pattern radiator grille and a Power dome bonnet that adds more dimension to the body. The new front lighting system is now LED High-Performance, illuminated with a new reflection technology, and an automatic Adaptive Highbeam Assist. This latest model makes it even more convenient with a KEYLESS-GO system that enables the driver to easily start the engine and lock the car by just carrying the key inside the pocket and a HANDS-FREE ACCESS to the trunk. The vehicle also comes with sports-styled 18-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels (225/45 R18).
The new A-Class comes with multifunction sports steering wheel in Nappa leather and sturdy ARTICO man-made leather seats with MICROCUT black microfibre with red seams. The driver and front passenger seats are electrically-adjustable with memory function and 4-direction lumbar support. A 10.25-inch All-digital instrument display on the driver’s side shows driving info while allowing the driver to control the technology in the cabin with MBUX multimedia system 10.25-inch with touch function, connect a smartphone with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ and a wireless charging system with a USB Type-C 4 slot. The driver and passenger can enjoy other facilities such as DYNAMIC SELECT driving mode, THERMOTRONIC for adjusting the temperature in 2 different zones of the cabin with a temperature adjustment panel for the back-seated passengers. The Ambient Light can be picked from 64 colors to create an exclusive atmosphere, while an electric panoramic sunroof allows the cabin to look more spacious.
“MBUX7,” the latest generation of multimedia system equipped with an AI (Artificial intelligence), can offer a far more superior connectivity experience between the driver and passengers. The AI can smartly evaluate each user’s habit and understand voice command in 27 languages. In addition, the MBUX system automatically updates and improves its system through over the air LTE wireless signal and works seamlessly with Mercedes me connect to help the driver connect with the digital world and other Mercedes-Benz top-notch functions without any limits.
The new A-Class is equipped with a standard security system and ADAS assisting system, including ADAPTIVE Brake, Active Break Assist system, Adaptive brake light, Cruise Control, SPEEDTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist, Exit Warning Function, Active Parking Assist, Tyre pressure loss warning system, and ATTENTION ASSIST.
