Jaguar reveals 2021 with revised styling, modernized cockpit

The body is now more sculpted, starting at the front end.

Jaguar has revealed the 2021 F-Type, giving the coupe a new look and interior upgrades.

The front end has been thoroughly reworked, adopting a more sculpted form with narrower LED headlights that have been reoriented to stay below the top edge of the fender lip. The hood features a new ‘liquid metal’ form to better mesh with the body curves and highlight the lower proportions.

Designers have been more modest in adjusting the back end, adding slender LED taillights that carry over the chicane form that debuted with the electric I-Pace crossover.

Inside, drivers are faced with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system with support for Apple CarPLay, Android Auto and over-the-air updates. Buyers can also choose from a few new upscale materials, including Windsor Leather and Noble Chrome.

The 2021 model year offers four-, six- and eight-cylinder powertrains. The range-topping F-Type R’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 has been retuned to deliver 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, up 25 horses and 14 pound-feet with a zero-to-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.

Jaguar has not yet announced US-market pricing for the 2021 F-Type lineup, nor an expected launch date.
