Bugatti delievered the first Chiron to a United States customer at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August 2017. The car is in the familiar two tone color scheme so popular with the Veyron; in this instance, yellow and Nocturne black. The color combination extends to the interior with yellow leather contrasting against Beluga black.
The Chiron, like its predecessor the Veyron, features an 8 liter W16 fed by 4 turbochargers. The engine has been extensively modified and improved upon, and it now yields a remarkable 1479 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque. It can achieve a 0-62 mph time of 2.4 seconds, and top speed is actually capped at 261 mph.
The car retails at just a hair under $3 million in the U.S. market, and half the production run of 500 cars are already sold.
