Bosch mobility shuttle concept

Bosch believes it can help build driverless shuttles for urban needs.

While some CES debuts were full-fledged production models, some, like this autonomous shuttle from parts and system supplier Bosch, were strictly conceptual.

Bosch’s vision of an autonomous shuttle would make use of components it already supplies or plans to in the near future. The concept here is intended for passengers and could serve as anything from a shuttle for commuters or convention goers to sightseeing tour duty, but Bosch believes similar vehicles will some day move cargo too.

These low-maintenance, all-electric runabouts are intended to be comfortable and well-appointed enough to pull double duty as mobile meeting spaces and will be fully connected to the world around them. When service is necessary, they’ll even drive themselves to a maintenance facility.
