Lexus marks ten years of F line with exclusive RC F and GS F

The 10th Anniversary Editions will be limited to a just 240 and 100 cars, respectively.

Lexus is introducing two commemorative editions of its GS F and RC F performance cars to mark a decade of the F brand.

We reported on the Japanese debut of these special editions earlier this year, but now they are confirmed for the US. In Japan they were extremely rare — only 35 10th Anniversary RC F sport coupes and just 25 10th Anniversary GS F sedans were sold there. In the US, they are a little bit more plentiful with 240 Lexus RC F models and 100 GS F models available.

Like the Japanese versions, each car will come with an exclusive Nebula Gray matte finish and black 19-inch BBS forged aluminum alloys over “F” blue Brembo brake calipers.

Inside, the dashboard, steering wheel, center console, and shift knob are all lined with blue leather. The front seats are upholstered in the same, with white accents. The RC F gets an embossed headliner, while the GS F gets blue seat belts. Both keep their 471-horsepower naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8s.

There’s no word whether the US versions will come with their Japanese counterparts’ performance dampers, CFRP rear diffuser, or the titanium performance exhaust that promises a weight savings of 15 pounds.

The GS F 10th Anniversary Edition will cost $5,000 more than a standard GS F, for a grand total of $89,350. The RC F 10th Anniversary Edition will require a $16,160 premium, which breaks down to $9,000 for the 10th Anniversary package, and $7,160 for the required Performance Package, Triple Beam headlights and Intuitive Park Assist. They are arriving at Lexus showrooms now.
