RECORD RESULTS FOR BENTLEY MOTORS ASIA PACIFIC IN 2023


 2,121 vehicles delivered by Bentley Motors in Asia Pacific last year, an increase of 4 per cent over 2022, with South Korea remaining as top-performing market in the region alongside Japan with the highest growth year-on-year

 Significant interest in limited Regional Mulliner Collections

 The luxury SUV Bentayga continues to lead with the introduction of the Extended Wheelbase model in the region with continued success for the Continental GT

(Singapore, 29 January 2024) Bentley Asia Pacific finished yet another record year with 2,121 customer deliveries, representing 16 per cent of global sales of 13,560 luxury cars. In spite of difficult market conditions, the region also saw a positive year-on-year increase of 90 deliveries (+4 per cent) over the previous year.

The demand was driven by significant desire in Bentley Mulliner personalisation and interest in the six limited Mulliner Collections such as Bentayga Nimbus and Umbra, Continental GTC Skyline Edition in Vietnam, and a collaboration with Ha Tae Im in South Korea.

South Korea delivered 810 vehicles (+5 per cent), reinforcing its position as the top-performing market in Asia Pacific and the world’s fifth-largest market for Bentley last year. Japan trailed closely with 719 cars sold, a remarkable 12 per cent increase from 2022. Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand recorded 592 deliveries and showed resilience in challenging global climate with a slight 7 per cent decrease in vehicle deliveries in Southeast Asia.

The Bentayga maintained its lead with the introduction of the Extended Wheelbase and Azure models offering new levels of comfort alongside unique styling making the luxury SUV range more desirable than ever. With 848 units sold (+4 per cent), the best-selling model accounted for 40 per cent of total sales in the region last year. The success of the quintessential luxury grand tourer Continental GT (including the Continental GTC) also continued in 2023 with a record 648 units of the two-door luxury grand tourer delivered to customers in Asia Pacific last year (+14 per cent), contributing towards 31 per cent of total sales. As the world’s finest luxury four-door grand tourer, the Flying Spur accounted for 29% of sales with 625 units delivered (-4 per cent) across the region.
