The Reu Doo Gaan restaurant at luxury Visama Mae Chan tented camp in Chiang Rai is holding special dinners for Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year.

On Wednesday 14 February, 5-9pm, the Reu Doo Gaan – “Seasons” – restaurant will hold a Valentine’s dinner entitled “The Culinary Poetry of Love by Bo.Lan”.

The event will raise funds for the neighbouring Friends of Thai Daughters charity, which encourages vocational training and university education for hilltribe women.

Celebrity chef couple, Duangporn “Bo” Songvisava and Dylan Jones, famed for their fine Thai dining restaurant in the Thai capital, will present a uniquely romantic dinner to remember in the hills of Chiang Rai.

Reu Doo Gaan management said: “Each dish will be a poem that unfolds a story of passion, romance and the artistry of two renowned chefs – Bo and Dylan.”

The six-course spectacular is THB5,000++ per couple or THB7,000++ with wine pairing.

Valentine’s accommodation packages are THB24,999 ++ per couple for one night, including the dinner, wine pairing and breakfast. Two nights is THB29,999++ with two breakfasts.

Reu Doo Gaan also invites guests to embark on a culinary journey to celebrate Chinese New Year with a special Fire Dragon Delight Dinner on the evenings of 8, 9 and 10 February, including a dance show on the 9th.

Visama Mae Chan executive chef, Suphanat ‘Miu’ Amnuayrit invites guests to indulge in a symphony of flavours that symbolise prosperity, luck, and abundance. “Our meticulously crafted menu promises a dinner fit for the majestic Year of the Fire Dragon,” says Miu.
