Tesla chief Elon Musk has invited his Twitter followers to recommend features for the company’s upcoming pickup truck.
The executive is already promising a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with “crazy torque” and a suspension system that dynamically adjusts for load. “Those will be standard,” he says.
The pickup will also use its high-voltage lithium-ion battery to provide power for 240-volt industrial equipment, such as welders, all day in the field without requiring a generator.
For easy loading into the bed, Musk suggests the tailgate will rotate down to near ground level. The truck will also feature a 360-degree camera and automatic parallel parking.
