The Standard, Hua Hin is making a splash with a variety of festivities to celebrate the Thai New Year from April 13 to 15 with The Standard Pool Party as a highlight event on April 15. On this Saturday, the iconic Hua Hin pool will be transformed into an artful playground with an installation of gigantic, surreal Pool Pasta floats, a collaboration between The Standard and JUMBO NYC. Back-to-back celebrated DJ names, a special menu of pasta dishes from our famed Lido restaurant, outdoor movie screenings and not least an array of delectable cocktails will make this a Songkran to remember in Hua Hin.
DJ Shir Khan – a Berlin-rooted, Bangkok-based vinyl spinner making waves outside Germany with his unconventional, uncompromising blend of Dance music- the headliner at the resort’s first ever pool party will put Hua Hin on the map as a world-class music destination together with a lineup of other international DJs taking to the decks on April 15.
In addition to Shir Khan’s mix of House, Disco, Acid, Breaks and Indie tracks, the famously wet Thai New Year celebrations at The Standard, Hua Hin will see sets from DJ Spencer, the founder of Thailand’s top Disco and House gig ‘Disco Diaries’, who forever delivers a groovy vibe of singalong anthems in his well-crafted selections. DJ Monster P, meanwhile, will bring Electro House, Hip-Hop and Trap Beats with a touch of “underground” to the party, promising a highly energized closing set on April 15. During April 13-14, The Standard’s well-loved resident artists DJ Deejai and DJ Pichy will be working their usual wizardry behind the decks at the poolside Lido Bar and stylish Praça beach bar and Thai Izakaya.
Early Bird Pool Party tickets are available for purchase before April 6 at a discounted price of THB 450 net per day, after that ticket prices are THB 650 net if booked online, and THB 800 net at the door. All prices are inclusive of one drink. Guests staying at The Standard, Hua Hin between April 13-15, 2023 will have a complimentary access-only to The Pool Party.
