YANMAR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT CO., LTD. has launched a campaign to find the “YNB300” mini excavator on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
The YNB300 mini excavator was first manufactured in 1968 making 2018 its 50th anniversary. In 1960 farmers and laborers were still using shovels and other hand tools. But after a shortage of labor and a sudden increase in wages, Yanmar developed a the YNB300: the world’s first mini excavator. The YNB300 met the demands of industry and customers alike and became a key part of the development of the construction industry.
In this campaign, Yanmar will conduct a draw to select five people from among those who can provide information on the target product, the YNB300.The five winners will receive a CASIO G-SHOCK Master of G GRAVITYMASTER GPW-2000-1AJF to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the start of sales of Yanmar mini excavators.
Additionally, the company would like to purchase up to three original YNB300s or equipment the company recognizes as close to the original YNB300 at a maximum purchase price of 500,000 yen (including consumption and withholding tax) per unit, from owners of the equipment in question.
