Gulf BP started commercial operation to EGAT


Gulf BP Company Limited (GBP), a subsidiary of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited, commenced the sale of electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under the Small Power Producer (SPP) program.

Ms. Yupapin Wangviwat, a Director and a Senior Executive Vice President of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited stated that the Gulf BP power project is located in the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya province, with an installed power generation capacity of 126.8 megawatts and an installed steam generation capacity of 10.0 tons per hour. GBP will supply a contracted power generation capacity of 90.0 megawatts to EGAT pursuant to a 25-year power purchase agreement and will supply the remaining power and steam generation capacity to industrial users through secured long-term contracts.
